    hy there,,

i normaly use Teamviewer for working on Friends PC´s for free...And for having fun, but now Teamviewer cuts me off every 2 min. because its saying im not using it private..

So i tried all..delete reg, reinstalled windows bla bla..still the same..so i called the support and they told me that i used it more then 100 times and have around hundred clients..well all private i say..friends from forums etc etc..
Also i asked why its keeping doing that even i reinstalled windows, how the hell does teamviewer know its me?
i even chanegd my ip, lol.

she said its reconized trough ur hardware..and stuff,..i dont know...So they wanted me to buy a license..

But i dont want that i use it as Private person in Private time..

    Long Text short question....

Is there an alternative to teamviewer, or at least a way to get rid of teamviewer knowing my system so it thinks i use it for the first time ever...

i allready tried crossloop and let me tell u, this sucks big time..takes 1 minute to render the desktop when im moving a window..Teamviewer is fast...

anyway, im happy for every answer i can get..

    greetz Beta

    edit..

i need an FREE app....just to point that out, hehe...

Nothing will be as good as Teamviewer because it does a lot of work for you.

Gives you a standard ID, standard password, and punches through Routers and Proxies very very well.

Other things like VNC's need port forwarding enabled.

CrossLoop cuts through the NAT Firewalls just like Teamviewer does.

    Mr. Watcher...

in case u didnt read my post at all..read it again..i tried crossloop and it sucks.its slow as hell..teamviewer is way faster...
Thats why i said no Crossloop..Please respect that..

    ---

anyway..i tried ultra vnc, real vnc and so..and i failed..i couldnt connect...

I even tried port forwarding like Finchwizard sayd...no luck...

instead i tried these tools here:

    AMMYY ADMIN and impcremoteinstant

both worked but had limitations and also where way slower then Teamviewer..

the thing is i enable Themes and mod windows designs for people sometimes and i need to see his desktop in full color and with aero and thats not working with those tools...

i guess im gonna search more...

Is ultra, tught, real VNC fast?

The VNC's are ok, but not as fast as Teamviewer and things.

The other people who only seem to compete are Logmein Rescue but I'm really not sure on costs.

    sounds good...

BUT, theres a 14 day trial and besides that its around 100 euro per month..lol..and 929 euro per year...

so i cant afford that at all..

oh well...Does someone know how exactly teamviewer does identify me? Hardware ID? rootkit? drm?
Like i said even a windows reinstall didnt worked...they still know its me..

-- gonna keep searching, there musst be something out there..

Well it identifies by the MAC address and generates a unique ID which is what you connect to.

So it's going to watch and if it sees you making so many connections all the time, it's going to get a little sus.

I have no idea if it would work, but have a look into a MAC Address Changer, and you might be able to change your MAC address from time to time if it finds limits.

    Worth a shot.

If you're supporting that many people though, I suggest you buy it. It's really one great piece of kit.

Expensive. But I've really not found anything that even remotely comes close. So if you do find something. Let me know =)

My appologies: I must have missed the " No Crossloop "

    You can try Gbridge

    http://www.gbridge.com/

The reason that VNC and such are not working is because the firewalls need to be configured to let the correct port to be forwarded to the IP of the computer that you want to work on behind the NAT firewall.

Read and use the follwing to allow acess through NAT firewalls.

VNC doesn't work well when you have multiple machines on the network, have to assign different external ports, then map them internally.

    It's a lot of work.

That remote Desktop Manger thing only looks like a manager, so you can keep all your connections in the one area. Doesn't actually look like a service.

This is exactly the reason why I recommended Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager. It's alot less work that way. :)

I think TeamViewer is a very fine piece of software, given all it does for you. I even use it in my Android phone to access my home computer and works amazingly well. It is true that it stops connections from time to time, but it isn't a problem for me.

Yep my bad I'm not behind any Firewalls so it is no problem for me, but could cause problems with those whom you are trying to remote with that are not computer savvy. So I guess Teamviewer would be the best option.
