Default ASUS VH248qe showing odd lines on monitor - 08-10-2017, 21:47 | posts: 862 | Location: Florida

So was about 2 months ago I noticed a faint line going across my screen, but it didn't really bother me so I didn't look into it. Now today there are a lot more of the lines and I can't figure out what it is. I think my monitor might be ****ting the bed on me, but just want to make sure.

So far I've obviously turned it off and on a few times along with unplugging it for a while. I've switched output modes and the issue is still their. I've tried both 144hz and 60hz. It's definitely not a scratch as the marks aren't there when the monitor is turned off. I've also updated my drivers.

Below are pictures of the issue. Any help is appreciated.

Hello! I've seen red/stuck pixels turn into red lines over years of use but never lines like those. If it's still under warranty then get a replacement.
