change unofficial overclocking mode to 2 instead of 1, it turns off the power saving though, the problem with the flickering is likely your gpu switching between the high power and powers saving modes constantly. if it doesnt stop after this you can turn it back to 1.

There should be a fix for this. Not being able to downclock when in 2D mode/idle is ridiculous. Wearing out the card and wasting electricity isn't desirable. It did this back with 12.3...

so i fallowed the directions in this link
http://www.overclock.net/t/1196856/o...#post_16790928
question is how do i revert back to stock clocks?
i retraced my steps but it that doesn't seem to help.
i re-installed msi afterburner but that didn't work.
should I un-install and re-install CCC?
i have an msi r7950 twin frozr using 12.11 beta 11 drivers
thanks in advance

How does voltage control (on unsupported laptop!) relate to extending CCC clock range?

I run msiafterburner.exe 2.31 with -xcl option and after pc reboot (as instructed) o/c clock range is NOT extended on my AMD HD 7850. What am I doing wrong/missing?
Needed .dll (atipdlxx.dll) is in \Redist dir as originally supplied with AB. Should I copy it to AB root dir? I didn't edit my msiafterburner.cfg with EULA thing etc, thought it's not needed with -xcl switch. Am I right?

I've got HD4890 card, on Win8, latest official (non-beta) driver, and latest beta of afterburner... I couldn't get the limit to go lower than 425/490, including the option for unofficial overclocking in Afterburner settings.
And I'd really like it to go to like 200/200 so I can underclock in 2D. Do I still need to go through unofficial way of adding these old dll's or something else?

Don't you assume that nobody cares to waste time on those who use thread bumps instead of clicking search button?
