So.. what is HyperBass, and why have you misnamed the Sound blaser Z, or Zx to ZR?
Actually couldent find any info on what any of your tweaks does, And no listing of what driver version you used in them (looking at SB Z), Did i miss something there?

Is there a standard tuning for the Hyperbass?
Because the Hyperbass was designed specifically for altered tunings, there is no standard tuning for it. However, the primary tuning used by Michael Manring is: E A E A, starting from the 4th string, going up.
Basically I think it help guitars sound in music over all . Sound great with it

Alright, ill try em next time i reinstall the drivers, im gonna suppose theyre almost standard apart from that and still has the "bug" where it defaults to 5.1 for headphones ^^

My set it's fix make sure you put into sleep mode when done. Then wake the restart then it should stick.

Ill try em out later today, in the hopes that the settings stick, having to use the line-out is kinda meh when it has an amp (even tho, its lower SNR, but still )
But what does the rest of the tweaks mean, and which driver version is it?, I still cant find any info on that, cept for hyperbass which you responded on

edit here; It didnt stick, same issue as before, when you reboot it changes from the user set Stereo to 5.1 in windows 7 x64
edit2; these have alot of bass, way too much for me :p (compared to std drivers released the 12th april)

You could tone down the bass in bass.ini restart computer to take effect that all you have do when you search for it in wow64 and system 32.

This is what i did to try to make stereo stick
Uninstall creative drivers -> clean -> reboot -> clean -> reboot -> install PAX, only driver and control panel in driver options, dont need the rest. -> set stereo -> Sleep -> wake it defaulted back to 5.1 -> set stereo -> reboot -> it defaulted back again -> set stereo -> Sleep -> wake, it defaulted again

Reinstalled and did this process 4 times -.-

that gives absolutely no info on the driver version or what each of those so called 'tweaks' does, tried to wring it out of him with the SB Z, as he said the reverting to 5.1 was fixed, when i posted what i did, he went silent.. so all this driver is, is most likely a standard driver with moar bass ^^

It is standard driver with "tweaks" which in this case pretty much means more bass by default which in my books is not a positive thing. It's all about few changes in ini. No one should think that these provide better sound quality or performance.
