From what i understand, it just suspends applications and processes that are not needed when gaming, so the software is legit, but not worth the money since you can do it yourself.
Because there are people that don't know anything about computers other than turning it on and pressing play on whatever game they want to play.
I particularly like this bit: "Military Grade Technology: Based on patented technology originally developed for U.S. Army Research Laboratory, Computational and Information Science Directorate High Performance Computing Division Information Assurance Center under Cooperative Research and Development Agreement No. DAAD19-02-9-0001 Concerning Investigation and Development of PC-Based Configuration Management and Intrusion Detection Technologies. Built on AppMoat Enterprise technology." So must be legit Also: "...Replace your outdated Antivirus technology on every PC that you own (up to 3 machines)..."
"Military Grade" dismissed by a multi billion dollar organization then starts selling Game Boosters to a bunch of steam plebs sounds legit LuL
That's for the "Seventh Knight PC Security"..... If you read their website it says: I really like these 2 statements from their website... So, in 1 line they claim to protect against zero-day attacks and in a following line, they state why they can't protect from zero-day attacks....lol
razers game booster was actually pretty decent. it didnt just suspend processes it disabled them and also did a few things in regedit too that are quite common for us "pro users" but not so much for the average user.
Their marketing person must be really contradicted. First trying to praise the software but feeling forced to tell the truth right after... "This software will increase your PC's perfomance! (disclaimer: this sofware will not increase your PC's performance) There's nothing like mumbo-jumbo to make your product sound professional.
Funny thing with these apps is this, you end up running more resources than you kill. So they always end up just being more bloatware. It's better to just do it manually rather than have a software app doing it for you. Of course not everyone is as tech savvy as us. My PC runs at around 34 processes but i see some people with over 80 so i can imagine these people might benefit by using this.
"Because this product is based on a patented "Generation 3" whitelisting (with sandbox) technology that boots Windows into a special Gaming Mode!" :knock:
