I'm going to have a third GTX 670 to play with over the weekend But I don't know what bridge/s to get the will work with my mobo's PCIe spacings. The board didn't come with a 3 way bridge and the old ASUS one wont fit because cards 1 & 2 have extra space between them. Can I use a series of 2 way bridges?? Im hoping to give maxing C3 at 1440p a go
thats a 2 way sli board, I think you would have to use a sli hack and the 3rd card would run at 4x pci e 2.0. sli bridge have no idea.
Hmm well I'm only borrowing the card so it's no biggie if I can't get it to work. I thought if they included 3 pcie ports it would at least support 3 way..
mine has 3 pcie slots too and its a 2 way sli board. your m/b only came with a 2 way sli bridge right?
my guess is your are going to have 1 670 as a physics card, sli hack may help you provided you have a functional 3 way bridge I guess
Okay Ill give it a try, is the thread below the right hack? http://www.overclock.net/t/670810/h...herboard-gtx5xx-compatible-1-0-final-released
That's the one, I succesfully tested and ran GTX 285 tri sli on a Z77 mobo which didn't support triple card sli, flexible bridges ftw
