    Hey guys.

    I managed to get my 3930k clocked to 4.7Ghz @ 1.384v

    The voltage fluctuates between 1.384v - 1.392v

Is this considered safe for 24/7 usage?

My custom water loop consists of 360mm and 480mm radiator with the cpu and 2 770 lightnings in the loop

below are my min and max temps

Core#0 and Core#3 are over 10c apart, is this normal?
the rest of the cores are 59c - 62c at full load.

I need more than 1.4v for 4.8Ghz, i dont know if its worth it.

I touched the heat sink on the VRM on the mobo, i suspect the temps are in the 50c - 60c range.

    Thanks Guys.

You should be alright, just don't go much hotter.

thats perfectly fine, max temp in celcius is 74 so your way below that,i'm also considering to go back to custom loop cooling with my 4790K,nice oc btw.

    thanks dude.
74c? really? or do u mean no higher than 74c for constant 24hr use?

Core#0 would hit the 70c mark every now and then drop back down lol.

during gaming, temps would be in the low 50c and gpu's max low 40c....

get back into the custom WC... nothing beats it.

also, my h100i on my i5 4440 keeps it under 45c under load! very impressive. only 1.010v as well (HTPC)

yes 74 is max but if you go sometimes over it no problem don't do it often but that won't happen while gaming no worrys ;)
