I dont even know if the evga will work tbh. no real risk as long as you have another card to reflash it
man I was expecting something like that, thats why I never e-mailed them thanks anyways. them not having the bios is a flat out lie. I think I will try a different brand next time. msi lightnings here I come (maxwell)
Yea you'd think if anyone would have access to that BIOS, it would be them lol I found your thread on the EVGA forums too, those guys are really running a tech forum? They don't even know how to save a BIOS with GPUz I think you're right to look for a different brand if this is how they go on
is that card a reference design or custom? Ill keep an eye out for the bios, and ask around, but im wonder if its a reference design then maybe different brand 4gb bios might work? don't know if you would want to be daring but these 2 4gb bios on Here lol. Since you got two cards, maybe flash your second if it fails then just flash it back to your current bios.
I already meantioned like 2 times that I saw those 2 bios at tpu. It is custom pcb most likely same 680ftw pcb as is exactly the same gpu gk104 32 rops 128 tmu 1536 shaders
How odd EVGA is not supporting you in an unauthorized modification. Come on, not a single company does. As it is, they are pretty good about providing tools and warranty coverage even when it is questionable who is at fault.
Nah dont see anybody with that card anywhere. Google brings me to this thread and the 1 at evga. Not a big deal just wanted to try out gpu boost 2.0
