    Great testing! :nerd:
Glad you did since I have like 10 batman coupons and some other games that PhysX and I wanna try too.

What the hell is that guy doing to those poor cards?

Ok ok six of these chips I will settle for under one heatspreader
    That leaves room for overclocking

These guys here are going to tear the 750Ti a new ahole in the 4th stage.
    http://hwbot.org/competition/gskill...ualifier/stage/1409_catzilla_720p_gtx_750_ti/

The card that will be used is a modded msi oc card Graphics Card

    • MSI N750Ti TF 2GD5/OC
      • Reworking PCB to add 6-pin power connector
      • Adopting Samsung memory for best overclocking
      • Tuning Extreme OC BIOS for OCer
      • Cards need to be returned after the contest
    • You may bring your own for other stages

Just if you are interested in what these things can do in the hands of the best clockers in Da world

    Ok ok
i got time now to mess around with the msi gamer card i have been busy with work deadlines and stuff.
Stock right out of the box with stock thermal paste
Well it does not throttle stock boost 1200 and only have tested with heaven bench
    dont believe the gpuz volt read its 1.197v 3d .927 2d :)

    +600 rams and +178
    [IMG]

the max i could get out of "betsy" atm

+700mem +202 core which is 1400 remember there is no 6 pin either
    [IMG]

any higher on either i get throttle i think do to lack of power limit NOT TEMPS!

Anyways i have a bios made which should be good for 1.26v but this board i can't flash it on still jajajaja
so its bios then i have to solder a 6 pin on it
then I will test that with some sort of air/water cooling. tomorrow it should happen so i will get some results up later god willing
After that i will get hard mods going then dice cooling..oh and i think what msi allows for max core clock might be enough lol+1000
ok ok thats it for now:wanker:

bios modded to 1.23v 6 pin on and not for nothing i penciled the spots in the hard mod guide but it did nothing but give me .80 more ram voltage(1.57 to 1.65) lol thats what i wanted to get to the vcore....still wondering why???? wtf in no mood to bother right now but it should have worked
1440 or so and no more throttle at all
    pro's are going 1700+np -0c... not me

    anyways the added 6pin

    EDIT****
I forgot to mention that ab does add voltage to this card +37 1.2 -1.23
Just got home so i have to get to it
New bios i made last night like for 135w ja ja ja ja ja ja just about to test it now air scrubber and fireman is here just in case

Already getting huge overclocks on air, looking forward to see how you go once you get more voltage to this thing. Nice stuff so far :D

How does the 750ti compare against a gtx 580? Iam thinking to pick one up myself? They seem to be just about tied according to some benchmarks I saw.

I'd bet it could be true. I know when I looked it was definitely on par with a 570. If you go crazy with the oc, you could probably hit up the 580 range.

Hey Guru's..I was wondering if there is a benefit Overclocking a 750Ti used only as a dedicated Physx Card?

Faster shaders can give better performance, there were a few tests done with Fermi cards.

Sorry for reviving this post, but I thought this was the best place to ask my question.

I have a gigabyte gtx 750 ti running @1.2v @ 1411mhz and I saw Cowie run his evga gtx 750 ti above 1.2v (I'm assuming no hardware mods besides bio flash). So the problem I'm faced with is that when I set my voltage my voltage to 1.212v and gpu-z reads my voltage as 1.2v. So I guess I'm asking if someone is able to confirm if theres a discrepancy between reading gpu voltage through a multimeter and using a gpu-z running above 1.2v.

GPU-z reads the drivers for voltage, which will never be correct.

I didn't even know there was a club.

PNY - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card
    Model: VCGGTX7502XPB-BB

I just got done modding the bios and flashed it. The card was an excellent investment. Max TDP usage so far was 63% was during the Fire Strike run (63% of 87 W = 54.81 W) and 45C max temp.
