Do I need a digital converter box in this scenario??

Hey guru's, I still have an old school tube TV and just cancelled my cable service. I'd like to get an indoor digital antenna so I can pick up some local stations, and I found a good one thats a reasonable price. My question is this - even with the digital antenna connected, will I still need a converter box for my tv? Or will the digital antenna be enough to receive and display a picture once connected?
