I tried, repeating the same process just alters the values of the Reg I already have, does not create a new one.

I remember seeing larger Regs from other people that included several resolutions, but I don't know how to mix several resolutions into the same reg key.

Thanks mate, I managed to get 2560@60 and 2720@60 using:

Then I tried to add same resolutions @50 just changing the hex 3c (60) to 32 (50) and although it seems to work (the 50Hz option appears on windows) my display reports a 60Hz signal so in the end it doesn't work.

Which settings could be altered to make the output signal @50, the same way it works in the standard 1080p@50? any ideas?

What are the Requirements to Downsample?
-Of course an AMD GPU.
-DVI connection is preferred, on my Rig HDMI and Displayport works also.

First Steps:
Installing a Modified Monitor Driver is Required (which you will find in My Download Pack)
In order to install the Modified Monitor Driver, deactivation of the Windows Driver Signature enforcement is required. If you use Windows 8 or 8.1 deactivating the automatic driver installation is also required.

How to add a Custom Resolution:
1. First of all execute the “list.bat” and a little Command line Window will appear and will show some values which are really important. The Most important values are “AdapterIndex” and “DisplayIndex”, please write them down.
2. Now Open the resolution.txt which looks like this:

3. The Bold values and question marks are going to get replaced.
-the written down AdapterIndex/DisplayIndex from the “list.bat”
- Refreshrate is the Native of you display Mostly 60 Hz, so put 60 Hz there
- for Width use “1920”
- for Height use “1081”
- now save the Document.

4. Execute the “resolution.bat”, the screen will go black or blank and will restore again.
Check in Control panel/Display if the resolution is available.
If for some reason an error appears change the refresh rate in the “resolution.txt” like to 57 Hz. Don’t forget later to modify the refresh rate again in the Registry key.

5. Start regedit and go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet" press CTRL-F and search for "ModeTimingOverrides”. The key that should be found will look like "ModeTimingOverrides_DVI_ConnXXXX" where XXXX is a random number that is different for everyone. Export that key and save it because we will need it to modify it.

6. Open the Saved Registry File and start Modify it according to the values and picture bellow. Save it and Doubleclick/Confirm to install it. Restart the Computer and see if the Resolution is available.

Don't run adlutil.exe.
Click the List.bat.
After that put the info in the CustumResolution.txt.
Follow the instructions in anypaper's post.
Make sure you disable gpu scaling in CCC.
And untick the box refresh rates that the monitor can not handle in windows Advanced display settings for the monitor your using.

If that doesn't work than i don't know if it's possible on a mobile system, as i'm guessing that's what your trying it on.

For windows 8.1 and not-working list.bat:
- right-click on adlutil.exe and select "Copy as path" in context menu
- press Windows key and start type "CMD", then right-click on Command Prompt icon and select "Run as administrator"
- right-click on Command prompt window and select "paste"
- type "list" and press enter
- use AdapterIndex and DisplayIndex values for the next step (which is to write them into resolution.txt and click on resolution.bat, then reboot and edit registry entry "ModeTimingOverrides” for Height, Width and VTotal, then final reboot)

After a year of owning a GTX 760 never look back for AMD. Till now...after I bought myself a 280x R9. Hello everyone (again) in AMD section !!!

Omg...a year have passed. Nothing changed in regard to proper downsampling with AMD gpu's? God, WHY?! :wanker:

but it is disabled for mid range cards :banana: so pretty much most of cards can't use it (imho, r290 owners make up maybe few % ow amd's card owners, so majority got shafted)
