its not very well documented (the owner is greek), but atiman uninstaller actually uses the ccc uninstaller in silent mode 1st, scrubs your registry and install direcories, and then installs a dummy driver so your desktop doesnt get hosed.

it does all the rebooting for you as well.

Ok. I think, well I don't know if this is the problem, but it's weird.

I have a DVI plugged in from my desktop to me monitor. When I restart when I usually wipe all my AMD software I use the HDMI port to see me screen because the drivers aren't set up to read my monitor yet.

Ok here's what I just now saw, it's weird but I caught it really fast. When I unplugged my HDMI plug the Overdrive option in Catalyst disappeared. I did it again and as soon as I unplugged before my screen switched I could see that option disappear again.

Why would there be a connection between my display setup and CCC's Overdrive option which directly affects my card? I will test this theory out more to see what happens.

It was a sort of lag with it, like I could see an option disappear right as I unplugged it. Like the overdrive mode it fine as of now.

Why would it be a power saving issue? All I'm doing is switching display channels. I take out the HDMI and DVI pops up, no overdrive in Catalyst, meaning no auto clock when I play games. I switch to HDMI after restarting, Overdrive comes back, games work like they are supposed to.

I don't even know how to word this issue in google.

No, this is not true.

There are not install a dummy Vga driver, but leave the default Microsoft driver in the system.

Only if a problem occurs in an entry after checking, then re-create this entry with the new one.

Also, does not delete all registry key, but only the necessary parameters.

And much more.
Is a completely different program, much more difficult.

Lets not be pedantic, dummy driver is a sufficent description.

I wasnt writing a white paper, just a basic overview.

Your program will only install on C drive. Not very helpful if I want to install it somewhere else...
