Battlefield 4 Premium is about 100$/€ maybe more, depens where you buy. So I guess only card will be around 700-650?

agreed, they definitely did something different this time around if they think they can get away with this price point. especially for a pre-order.

Lets just hope they aren't treating their mantle performance and the reason why this GPU is better than nvidia's. While I respect AMD for trying to find more efficient ways of doing things, I don't like that they often price things based on a handful of benchmarks.

Do you really have a need to replace a 6950 right now? I figured what you have is still more than good enough for most games, especially considering the drivers ought to be pretty polished at this point. I personally have 2 HD5750s, which is worse than what you have, and they do a good job so far.

Wow that's costly. I was under the assumption these we're going for ~$450. I wanted to pick one up because the price would be down to earth.

That was false assumption... How can a card like this be only 450$? That's just not what people expected.

650$ would be really nice, i hope we will see some reduction soon enough.

The price should drop within a month or so after release, especially if you can find it without the BF4 bundle. Still way out of my league though. lol

The pre-order prices are probably the only ones that are sky high, id lmfao if when the normal cards start getting in, they are about £100+ less :D

Um, ya i really do.. BF3 at 1680x1050 with everything on "high" is getting 80fps max while dipping into the high 40's (in gulf of oman).. Im moving up to a ultrawide 29" monitor in afew months... There is no way a 6950 would be able to handle that... With BF4 just around the corner I want to make sure I dont have dips under 60fps.. I could get by with 2 7970's but 1 290x for now should work and get a 2nd when they drop to the 350~400 range.
