I need to rant about this too. Its crap, my buy scripts still work, but thats the only good point.<br> <br> Jumping and crouching is completly poor, realistic, but its crap. All the servers are asking for the latest HL. So i dl that, and then CS1.4 wont go back to 1.3 I have tried many times, but now i have to go to work. <br> <br> This is a bad move by valve. Oh cheat proof my arse. There are scripts and hacks out for it already. What a load of chicken balls. Pointless unless you want a f**k up.

Yeah.. well there are gonna be some that llike it, but most of the pro guys in the leagues hate it. I know a few good clans and the feeling is strong through-out. Dr_voodoo and his clan seem to hate it and i am sure he know many clans that hate it too.<br> <br> I see more people using it because its real simple to play with and i feel quite n00bish game play will persue. Maybe i will start playing UT or get mohaa. CS1.4 is bad in my book.

its a shame.. and i hate to agree with ya there weez. The thing with CS is that you can get HL for £5 now, dl CS and there you go. Legit game very additive. mohaa is still £30 and thats money lots of people dont have (me included). ya and that is to bad too. Dungeon Siege $75 at Wal-Mart. That's quite abit and the game is pretty decent. I'd buy it if it hovered around $30. That's probably the max i'll pay for a game (now) and I do have quite a few bought games. <br> <br> But maybe it's a good thing that alot of people don't like the changes. Might make people upgrade their pc's. Might pave way for better looking games or give the people who bought their geforce3's/4's what they're asking for. Half-life got milked for too long in my opinion. It's like playing Doom when Quake 2 came out.
I dont want to get into a slaggin match about graphics again, man i have had too many of those. But yes, i kinda agree that there are better games out. Definatly the graphics has improved 10 fold. But man the game play, the game play. No amount of texel pushing is going to cover up a sh!te game.<br> <br> There was/is something about CS1.3 that loads love. That was gameplay. Hell, i still play scourched earth. I know the graphics are poor, and those mobo sound effects really take the pi$$ but its a stunning stunning game.<br> <br> I like JK2 and some of the other FPS games about, however i still head back to some CS with a bunch of bots or some mates. Gimmie an ak in another game and i will proberbly play that more !!

I did not call you for a n00b dr. voodoo. And i dont know why, but if i for example run and shoot and all that, its still the same. Yeah it is annoying that you get slowed down after jumping, especially in close combat. And i know that if you use jumping correctly, it is deadly. And about the headshots: I dont get more headshots than before, neither do other people on the servers i play. So i say 1.4 is good except that you get slowed down after jumping.
Btw, many danish pro's want 1.3 back. I only want the jumping back then. Btw, didnt they tweak the headshot position ? I think it looks like that.
they incriesed the HS hitbox so when u hite any part of the head its a headshot unlike in 1.3 when the top of the head did not count ... <br> i have nothing against anything else but that jumping is affecting my play .. im not saying i can't hadle it without cause i just played today and owned but im not having fun ... mainly because i have to camp ..sometimes ... when i was in 1.3 i just jumped to prevent getting shot at and other shizz... i mean i can get used to recoil and awp moving penalty and other changes made ...
Oh sweet jesus, I've been playing CS for almost 2 years now, and I hear this crap every damn time an update is released. "1.1 sucks.....", "1.3 is bullcrap, too many headshots, AK is too powerful....." "1.4 suX0rs....." YAK YAK YAK, lemme be the first hand ya'll a nice Cup 'O SHUT THE HELL UP!!!! People just don't like change, its just like when new maps come around, people bitch about how much they blow, just cause they don't know every little camp spot and can't kick ass on it. Just give it some time, like all versions that came before 1.4, it will still be one of the most popular online game there is, period. I'm just finally glad I got mine to work today, its been like 4 days with no CS for me.....ahh sigh, oh the humanity. But alas my geniousness allowed me to fix the problem my own self. Ahh but that's a nice story, anyway I hope to see some of you jabronis out there, cause 'Asshole Andy Armageddon' is back and whoopin ass in 1.4.

Stunna from M.D.S likes it all but the jumps. I played it for the first time last night and I had fun. A little hard to walk quietly but I will figure something else out. The overview map is killer.
Whatever. I loved CS 1.3, the improvements over 1.1 and 1.2 were a nice change and the gameplay improved if anything. 1.4 is not like 1.3, its an improvment over 1.1, possibly 1.2 but not 1.3. <br> <br> example: I played the other night on a local server, 6/10 deaths were headshots. 7/10 kills were headshots. I played for 1hr and was 47/32 so i thought it a fairish match. Just the thing was that the amount of headshots have gone up so damn much.<br> <br> I hate whinging. Think what you like about me, but dont tell me to grow up, my argument is fair and is founded. Its not like I'm speaking like child... Hey 1.4 sux knob, its gay, dont work, crap, I 0wn, I hate haxorz, [clan something] 0wnz j00. If i did then tell me to grow up.<br> <br> SNA: I havent played some of the new maps. They look nice and have some atmosphere, just have to get used to them i guess. The old maps are classic and i love them, just trying to play them without getting headed is a pain up the arse.
