It would suck to get account ban in such case, but except for that, it looks interesting. I wonder how much it would cost for the software developers.

Worried?
But no. A Vac banned account can still play all the games on it, just not multiplayer on Vac protected games (and in Vac protected servers on those games).
And I'm assuming that photoshop or whatever is going to be added to this thing aint gonna use Vac. Being not multiplayer. And all.

I was just joking. My Steam account is in great shape. And I think it may be actually good for ecosystem. Competition in distribution might lead to better offers for companies and people who make the software. However Windows Marketplace has that advantage, that it will support both desktop PCs as well as tablets.

Something StarDock has had for a long time... Still good as more people use Steam.

Hey, if you need some not so huge software to do something which there is not yet application for (and people would need + buy it) send me PM about that idea. If I make few thousands by selling that on Steam I will gift you any $60 or 60€ (or under) game you want from Steam.
