I know I have said it before (regarding the stock 1000-series...) but that is one ugly graphics card.

Amazon UK has the GIGA GTX 1080 G1 Gaming version(not in stock anymore) for 754euros after currency conversion which IS the cheapest I could find that I'm able to purchase in Europe.

Mayyyybe will snap one when funds are available soon. :D

Edit: WTH? Single 8Pin? No thank you. Pass.

Unless they figure out if the vbios or the power delivery itself limits the voltage to 1.08v, it's useless to discuss if the cards have one or two connectors... I'd still wait for Hilbert's review.

I'm sure as cards start becoming widely available, the custom vbios would follow soon from our fellow modders.

Custom vbios+1.25v doesn't seem too bad for Air/Water.

Absolutely true, yet I've come not to trust those things anymore... I've learned from my mistake of buying the Strix 980s and not MSI or Gigabyte... there people could push their cards further than Asus, because they had used some special digiVRM controller chip that limits it. Usual way to get around this in Strix cards is using a hardmod... wouldn't be too happy to see Nvidia and the other partners adapting to such a policy :(

I'm sure your Strix 980's served you well so far!

Also yeah, Strix were good cards but most "modders/tweakers/OCers" were avoiding them for their voltage limit. My self included.

Otherwise solid cards. I'm sure a GTX 1080/Ti will bring back your excitement and make up for it. :D
