OMG €800,- ex VAT ?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?
Thats a shame, reviews will tell it all.
However if at 1.17Ghz the Titan is ~50/60% faster then de GTX680 its a buy for me...

Even if at the same price or cheaper, you can get a 690? Just curious btw because I'm in between this or 680 SLI or a 690.. Which ever comes first according to price/performance. And as of now Titan is getting edged out.

My point being that the cpu is definitely bottlenecking his cards which was proven by his and my results using same settings.
His cpu even at 4ghz could make a huge difference.

I hope it isn't a "paper launch" too. It would be nice if Fry's gets them quick so I can return my gtx 680 I just bought and get this baby. Got about 15 days left, good ol Fry's.

You are right. At 1080p/1200p he is bottlenecked by his cpu.
A larger screen/resolution would show the real power of those 680s w/o being bottlenecked.

There will be no bottleneck at 4Ghz if you enable 4xAA/16xAF....

See my rig so for me a 680/690/Titan will all be a huge upgrade.
But i also have a Triple Screen set up with 3D/120Hz and i finally want to play some games in 3D.
1 680 is not enough, 2 680's are enough (performance) but not enough vram... Same goes for the GTX690.
The Titan has everything i need and i can go SLI later on but its expensive ...
Not that im a rich guy or anything but i have been saving up my money for the past 3.5 years (time i have this machine) so i have enough for some sweet upgrades ...

Well explained.. Thank you.
My Palit is already up for sale locally. I'm still debating tho but the 2 680 4GB SLI I have my eyes on for a bit cheaper than the Titan starts to look really tempting.
For a single 59" Samsung at 1080p that would be my best choice. For above 1080p or tripe screen, well thats another story which I'm not interested in.

I was also looking for the 4GB version and here in The Netherlands the 4GB GTX670 goes for around ~€420,- and the 4GB GTX680 around ~€ 520,- (depending on brand)
So a Titan with around 50% the performance of a GTX670\680 4GB for ~€950,- is a pretty sweet deal.
And in all fairness i think performance wise and $ wise the Titan should be benchmarked against a 4GB GTX variant.

My apologies. I was talking about 670 4GB SLI for around 850euros including shipping and not 680 4GB SLI.
680 4GB SLI still goes for around 960-1000euros incl. shipping. And I'm talking about non-reference overcloked ones. For both of the SLI's I mentioned.
Edit: Or 2 Diamond 7970. I hear a lot about them lately that are a major sleeper cards. If I can find any in the EU.
