    I just updated MSI Afterburner after many years but I can't figure out how to enable FPS counter and the DX version in the OSD.

    I have been able to enable the GPU usage counters though.

    I have no entry of framerate in MSI Afterburner :(.

    Using HD 7700 and driver AMD 14.6

    Any ideas?

    Maybe there is a ini file where I need to add "framerate"?

    Thanks

    Make sure you also have RTSS (download it here) installed as well as MSI Afterburner and follow this picture I took. Hope it helps.

    Why not just use fraps.

    serious?
    because fraps doesn't have all the features that MSI AB has and don't mix two OSD applications.

    @CPC_RedDawn Thank you :).

    I didn't install RTSS, because I thought it is a Server function to upload statistics...

    Now it works :)

    neither me.
    If he now comes around the corner with BF4 (Mantle) then my friend I've to tell you, that FRAPS has no Mantle support, too.

    Maybe he'd referring to pre-DX9 or legacy OpenGL titles, although it is possible to configure the OSD to work there. Or perhaps 3dfx Glide? How about 8-bit and 16-bit games? ;)
