MSI Afterburner overclock not applying to certain games

Hi,

Not sure if this has been discussed previously, but I'm encountering a problem where my overclock profile will not apply for some games.

Heroes of the storm for example, the core and memory clock are running lower than a game such as R6 siege, regardless if I apply stock or overclock profiles.

Is this game specific? Some older games also make the card run at even lower clock speeds. Is there a way to force the clock speeds? Witcher 3 is another example where my overclock settings run at the proper speed.

Any clarification would be most appreciated.
