    Hello,

After looking for 3 hours meeting dead end after dead end here is me post.

    Specs
    Asus Crosshair 2 780a W/ 15.24
    AMD 9850 Black Edition
EVGA 8800gt 512mb Video cards in SLI W/ 180.42 Drivers
    Rivatuner 2.11

I first followed the low level guide to do this then found It would not work with sli Vista 64.

When I found http://www.vaguetech.com/index.php?pageid=rt207#advcontrol I do not have the fan tab in the system tweaks window to make the driver level profiles.

I Also tried drivers 178.24. 180.43 would not install.

Any help is appreciated, Going to continue messing with it.

Do you see fan control tab in low-level system tweaks window? If you do then either roll back to 178.xx drivers, 180.xx drivers contain different driver-level fan control interfaces and they are not supported by 2.11. If low-level fan control tab is missing too then unfortunately your card doesn't have fan controller IC installed.

Ok i have rolled back to 178.24 Drivers.

I get the message about unsupported drivers when rivatuner starts.

I have fan control for low level system tweaks.

I do not have fan control for forceware system tweaks.

Ensure that the primary display adapter is selected as a tweak target in the main tab. Driver-level fan controls are provided on the primary display device only for SLI systems.

Ahhh that is it, Thank you!

    Continuing with the walk-through,

Thank you very much for the quick response and needed information

    Edit
Ok i have it setup so the main video cards fan will adjust as needed, and was able to manually set the secondary fan speed with low level to keep it cool.

Time for testing and tweaking it in action>=D

    Edit 2

Heh i think i need to get a better cooling solution on the main card. But first ima switch them. One card is from the first batch the other is from a later one and may cool a bit better.

The case is already ventillated quite well, i could take measures to improve it cut a hole in the bottom of the cae and blow air up to them but i think this is a better solution. Or listen to the fan go 90-100% when in use>=/
