Anything above 1.42V is at your own peril, best to read up on peoples experiences to judge whether its worth it for you.
Instadeath starts to occur around 1.62V although many chips have gone a lot higher.
Temps are crucial when pushing high volts.
I accidentally unplugged my pump a few days ago and didnt realise for about 2 mins.
PC was still idling away.
Phew.
When I last did load testing, I hit 76C with P95 small FFTs, I stress test with P95 blend.
Blend isnt as hot as small FFTs but is better at exposing bad overclocks with SB.
Normally around 50 to 60C when gaming.

Yeah, when gaming I get really good temps, like not even 60c, under p95 for hours I barely hit 70c, maybe a little bit over that's about it.
Even with that I throttled back to 1.4V Load-line at Level 5, for 4.6Ghz, I don't want to test my unit like that really, I just want a good stable OC.
It seams as though 4.7Ghz just wants too much voltage for my liking bringing it pretty close to 1.5V and I don't like that.

Sniffing with your nose in the air is a sign of discontent.
So if its nothing to be sniffed at, its nothing to be discontented with.
ie you can be content with it.

That's what I thought, it's a good amount 4.6Ghz, but I am now stable officially at 4.7Ghz and under the 1.5V, and the temps are really good around 24c-28c idle and in-game not even 60c.
