Hi,

I just bought a GF3 and I'm trying to get some decent performance out of it in Unreal 1 (the original game). I still like the game and want to maximize the graphics. So far, I've encountered a lot of stuttering with patch 226f. If I try patch 225f I can't see the menu (I made sure that W-buffer was enabled).

I got the impression from another post that it was recommended to play the game in 16bit colours (desktop setting I guess) and not 32bits, is this correct?

Any hints/tips to get the most out of Unreal 1 would be appreciated.

Is there a copy of RivaTuner coming out to support drivers 12.40?

I'm going to try the 12.00 drivers to see if I have any luck with those.

Thanks for developing this handy utility!
It's correct for 225f patch. It will fix problems with corrupted fonts.
Try to use RivaTuner's Unreal preset. It will maximize image Quality in this game.
Currently available (RC4.1) version fully supports Detonator 12.40. You don't need 12.40 database untill u're going to edit registry directly via built-in registry editor. BTW RTFM
