Was just announced on Spike TV. Bounty hunter game, third-person. First trailer is at 10:00 A.M. EST on Monday, June 4th. Here's hoping it's good, and that it comes out for PC. Unlikely, since LucasArts is a festering pile of **** video game company, so reserved optimism here. - PR-0927
Same. My friend and I were just discussing how we'd fail at doing everything else in life if a new JK game was made. Hell, if a new SWRC or something else epic was made, I'd do nothing with my life upon getting that game as well. Shame LucasArts is so ****ing useless - if they'd only listen to their fans and stop making ****ty games. Since 2005 there has not been a good Star Wars game. That's sad. - PR-0927
I agree. By releasing decent remakes of JediKnight, XwingTIE or fun adventures like Indy / MonkeyIsland Lucasarts could instantly be back at the top again. Seems like the new managers lack the vision.
Somehow I instantly thought of Prey 2, also has the bountyhunter theme and even an open world. I'll take a guess and say this will be a more of linear affair though.
I hope that this would be good. Though I really would love to see new Jedi Knight game mixed with KOTOR and Mass Effect.
Yup, also seems to me like a Prey 2 / JK Crossover, which would be absolutely amazing. A new Jedi Knight type of game would really rock!
finally another Star Wars game taking a different perspective other than playing as a Force user. with the exception of Republic Commando, that game was awesome. playing as a Bounty Hunter, that's just cool. plus i also like how they are focus on a mature/adult oriented rated Star Wars game. bring on the gore and violence!! now, all we need is another KOTOR RPG.
Website with some gfx: http://www.lucasarts.com/games/1313/ GT TV: http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mi...nting-fast-paced-combat-to-the-mature-masses/ I hope we get to fly to different planets with steerable ships! That would be the next step compared to the old Jedi Knight titles. How hard can it be to make a Starwars GTA ?
I think it's great and everything I expected. It doesn't meant that it suits everyone, though. It also means that for some it's really great game.

Watching those videos made me lose all hope in gameplay for this game, though the graphics are incredible.
Its Starwars Uncharted it seems. Even the climbing animations (hand pointing to the next safe-spot) are exactly the same. Not bad for LucasArts to try to gain some lost ground, but the gameplay itself looks a bit uninspired / boring so far. I hope there's 99% more to see about this game. Otherwise - .... meh.
