NVIDIA GeForce 344.11 WHQL Driver

How can I install this driver with a 660 Ti and a GTX 260 for physx dedicated? I get BSOD in Win 7 64 bits.
PS: I tried the modified inf in the Quadro thread :/

 

The original release of Metro 2033 crashes during the initial load with these drivers due to the installation of the new version of PhysX. I reported this issue previously and I am surprised to see it has not been fixed, given how few hardware PhysX games there are. Do NVIDIA not bother testing these games work with the latest PhysX.

Installing the older v9.13.1220 fixes the crashes.

 

The game (v1.3.1) works fine for me in DX11 mode. Are you sure you're not forcing DX9 mode and AA or something like that?

Can't select proper RGB color format with this new driver now.... When is NVIDIA going to fix these HDMI color issues??

 

we still need to use the hack, I was annoyed too.

 

I am using HDMI with my HP LP2475w monitor and I still have the RGB option. Colours look as they should. Is this issue related to certain monitors?

 

If I don't use the hack, everything looks washed out. Maybe its because I use a 1920x1080 res hdtv, I dunno.

Can't install

Hey all. Wondering if I could get a little bit of help. Well last night I downloaded and installed the 344.00 on my rig and all went good with the modded inf file. So I get home today and see these up. I reboot into safe mode and ran that one driver clean up utility(DDU), reboot, and try to install these and I get the cannot continue because supported hardware not found error message.....! So I thought, well I'll just get the modded file from the 344.00 forum section and it STILL doesn't work..... Another thing I noticed that after the clean up of the drivers and the system reboots back normally, windows use to install the standard display driver, well it isn't doing that? Nothing shows up under device manager(aka video card or monitor). I can't get anything to re-install. :bang: Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

NVM I figured it out. Crisis averted(lol). I noticed a yellow exclamation point next to a pci to bridge entry in device manager, checked it out and said something about incomplete reg. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled, rebooted and BAM the standard vga thing popped up and got the drivers installed. Now to go play, sucked sitting here looking at my screen in HUMUNGO mode and not being able to play(ack)....

 

Can someone test CS:GO for me? My 980 only gets 110fps average... my 750Ti with the same settings gets 300. But I haven't tested the 750 with the new driver.

 

I would like to know that as well.. Mine is also 1.1, cpu & igpu 1.2..

 

NVIDIA never implemented OpenCL past 1.1 officially, Cyris is probably modifying it himself and seeing how it works out

I just installed it opencl 1.2 isn't in it yet. I think that was what he was testing.
