Any way to make the PC see the iPad as a mass storage device so I can just drag drop files to it like Android?

Can't stand it, it reminds me of that Windows Phone one MS released, forgot the name now, but there was a reg hack you could do to turn the WP into a mass storage device, was hoping the same to be true with the iPad

If you're jailbroken then just get OpenSSH and you can just transfer anything over wifi with Filezilla, that's what we do.

    Not jailbroken unfortunately, iOS 9.3.1

Got the thing while it was on iOS 8.x.x, but being new to Apple stuff, not knowing Jailbreaking required specific OS versions, I updated to 9.2 straight away, and there hasn't been a jailbreak release since

Jailbroken now, it isn't a problem any more, got SSH running

Still trying to work out where the sync'd photos are kept to delete them though, I keep reading people saying "They're not actually on the iPad if they are sync'd"

Well... they kinda have to be if I can view them on there, I don't use iCloud for photos

Can't stand sync on any device, royal PITA on everything I've ever had the misfortune to have to use it on

Mass storage is where it's at, drag and drop, done

I have many lol, that's why I was stumped by the lack of support for something so simple (First and last Apple device)

Cheers I`ll have a look, WiFi is fine

If wifi is okay to u. U will be satisfied 100%. I use that kind of apps since years. Music, movies, documents, images what ever u want.

I currently use Oplayer. Both can play movies and view images. Easly drag drop files. Fast ad easy.

    Its actually pretty easy.

you will need the help of a good friend, and maybe a few dollars.

All you have to do is give your friend some money, he/she propaply wont take much, and then tell that friend to slap some sense into you. Ask that friend to constantly yell "APPLE SUCKS!!!" while slapping the snot, poop, pee and other things out of you.

Once you have been spent, ask you friend to pick you up, give you a change of underware, (if no underware change is necessary, the friend didnt do the job well enough), head down to a store and buy an android.

    You are welcome.
