All is good for the August update. It was a hectic week, so I'm a few days later then normal. Still on 100% Life expectancy and similar speeds since day 1. :)

    August 2016 update.

All is good, installed Windows 10 Anniversary this month on the SSD, everything feels a bit snappier for some reason. :)

    September report:
This month the changes are that I updated Windows to the latest build (v1607) which actually rewrote all of Windows, typical Microsoft efficiency. That and the drive was, as expected, slightly more full.

For some reason test results were spazzing out so I uninstalled something I never used to clear it a bit, trimmed, restarted, and the results are now 120MB+ faster on the Seq read speeds in CDM consistently like it was temporarily doing 3 months ago. Hurray for weird results.

September report coming up. I've had this SSD going on 18 month or so and it just now has dropped down to 99% Life Remaining according to OCZ SMART. Not bad at all for something that is used daily. :)

I also just updated to the Windows 10 v1607 literally in the last 24 hours on this laptop (had it about a week on my desktops). My overall scores on CDM and AS SSD are a teeny tiny bit lower then last time, whether that is due to a brand new semi major Windows 10 update or more background processes, or just a bit of randomness I can't say.

**** Yep - closed all the open programs and got those 4K Write speeds back up in line with the last couple of months.

Keep the updates coming, I'll write a news item as update on the panel test next week.

    September 2016 update.

All's good, no complaints whatsoever. I noticed that my Lifetime dropped to 98, but then again I think I have the most usage on host writes/reads out of the entire test group. :nerd:

I'm a little bit early this month since I am moving interstate starting tomorrow. I don't know how hectic it might be in the next several days or even if I'll have internet every day.... hence the early report. :)

My system has been good; the OCZ SSD is as solid as ever. I recently added a Crucial M.2 SSD that I picked up cheap and I'm throwing those in as a comparison just for grins and giggles.

    October update:

AS SSD Benchmark gave random results as usual but then I saw the 4K Q32T1 write results in CDM were extremely low. My SSD seems to crap itself as far as 4K Q32T1 writes goes after roughly 82% capacity. I was at 84% full and speeds dropped by about 100MB/s. I deleted 10GB dropping it down to 82% and results roughly in the same range as they used to be.

    October 2016 update.

All good, for some reason though, AS SSD gives a slightly lower score compared to last year. May be usage, may be the fact that the SSD is almost full, not sure. Anyway, in real world usage the SSD feels very much the same.

My October update. The drive is still running great, I could probably get a higher AS bench score if I re-run the bench but 944 is a decent score for my old rig.

DiskMark scores are good, some of the best I've seen on this SSD.

    October update:

I'm still a fan of IOMETER, so I would not care too much about AS SSD.
At least CDM is somewhat consistent.

I have a little problem that I'm hoping one of you guys can help me with. I very recently switch my OCZ Vertex 460A to a new desktop build and was planning to continue the testing and result posting as I have been. I was able to download the correct version of AS SSD, as well as OCZ SMART, however I cannot seem to find a working download for CDM 4.0.3 - CDM has moved on to newer releases, but for consistency I would prefer to use the 4.0.3 version. Would any of you guys be able to either upload CDM 4.0.3 somewhere for me, or send it in an email? If you know of a working download site I'm happy to try that too. Thanks guys!
