I didn´t find it anywhere on the forum that anyone mentioned they had a problem with the iPhone app of MSI Afterburner...

I have set up the MSI Afterburner Remote Server, i connect the iPhone app to the PC, and i can Monitor my temp, gpu voltage, and this kind of stuff, but as soon as I try the Overclock tab, the program shuts down... The same problem is with my friends phone...

Now for the software and hardware...

    I have :

iPhone 4S (6.1.2) JB (the friends phone is the same)

    MSI Z77A-G43 MBO (BIOS V2.8)
Gigabyte GTX 660Ti OC (Forcewarwe 314.22)
    MSI Afterburner 3.0 Beta 8

I know that I am not the only one with this problem, because i found a lot of posts on other forums with this thread, but no solution :( .

Can you please help me with this...I really like this app, and it would be really cool if I could set the settings of my graphic card on my phone...

Please if anyone knows anything about this can you help me...

    Thnx :help:

Am I doing something wrong here ?? Can you please tell me if I am ?? I don´t get it...
My post has 150 views and no replies :( .

Am I really the only one with this problem??

BTW, tried it with Radeon combination on a totally different PC...The same thing, when i want to monitor the card, everything works fine...As soon as I click on the overclocking the app on iPhone just crashes :( .

I have all the latest drivers for everything...

    The PC is :

    i5 750
    4GB DDR3
    Some Intel board
    ATI Radeon 3870

Tried the MSI Remote Server 1.0, 1.1, 1.2
Afterburner 2.3.1, 3.0 Beta 6,7,8 and even 9 (that was released today)

Can you open a web browser on your PC while you have Afterburner and the remote server running? Then go to the page: http://127.0.0.1:82/macm . If you have changed the port in the remote server, use that port instead of 82. Log in with the username MSIAfterburner and the security key defined in the remote server. Please IM me the contents of that web page.

Did it ever work for you before? Maybe before iOS 6.1, before getting a GTX 660Ti, or before AB 3?

    Thanks,
    Nick

I know, i know...I didn´t mean to be impolite or anything...

I just thought that when he said just a little bit, that he can check it out immediately.

    I meant no disrespect

I left to go to work right after I posted this morning. My "give me a bit" could mean a few hours or a few days.

Anyways, I can reproduce the crash on my wife's iPhone 4 w/ iOS 6.1 using your data. Give me a bit longer for more testing and debugging to find out the root cause. I'll reply back when I know more.

    Thanks,
    Nick

Sorry for the delay....been having lots of issues with my Mac recently so it took me a few days just to get it to power on so I could finish looking into this.

Anyways....this will be fixed in the next release. I don't have an ETA for you yet though.

    Thanks,
    Nick

I'm facing the same problem here but my specs are a little bit different:

    XFX Radeon 7970 GHz Edition
    Windows 7 x64
    iPhone 5 (iOS 7 Beta) / iPad 3 (iOS 6)

Effect is the same: Monitoring works like a charm ... overclocking crashes the app immediately :-(

I'm already using the latest Beta but it didn't work either in the former (beta/final) versions.

App works but not everthing loads

    Hi,

I am using this app on my Iphone 5 with IOS 7.0.2
My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate (latest updates) x64.
It works after a few reinstalls.
    MSI Afterburner 3.0.0 Beta 11

I can see my 2 680's but i can only tweak core voltage ans fan speeds.
The monitor does show Core and mem clocks.

I used that link provided in another post to create an xml file.
    I hope someone can help.

Sorry, but the iOS app has not been updated to support the Power Limit, Core Clock Boost, and Memory Clock Boost which were introduced for the 6xx series, as well as the new power features in the 7xx line. I don't have an expected date on this. The Android app has support for the 6xx features if that helps you at all.

    Awww that's a big dissapointment :(
Ok so that would explain why i did work with my 2 580's.

The thing is that, this tool is very handy when you want to adjust OC setting in realtime while for example a fullscreen benchmark is running.

So no set time for a possible update then...well is this hard to add?
    Is this opensource?

I finally got it working, I just had to turn of my private firewall (local network). You can leave the public firewall on. I wonder what it will look like when I get my second GPU back soon to repair a fan :)

I saw this but was unsure what it meant exactly... i am having this same issue... is there a definitive fix for it yet? Trying to get it setup on my GS60 ghost pro. Can view numbers but as soon as i hit overclock it crashes.
