And way more posts so yes, might as well Once again, what took Games Workshop this long to figure this deal/partnership out? I hope CA's take on Warhammer fantasy will wipe away all the shame the IP had on PC gaming due to Namco's poor take on the genre (to be fair to Namco/bandai, the game looked fantastic... it just played really sloppy with units having no sense of weight to them, range raping melee through friendly, etc.).
Holy carp. Did not see this coming. I'm a gigantic Warhammer fan and was always intrigued by the Total War series yet not enough to plunge in. Welp, this changes that. Psyched!
Looks amazing so far. I hope the RTS element is well-done. The RTS of TW has not been very good imho compared with Relic's or Blizzard's RTS efforts, fingers crossed. Will hold off for gameplay reviews before purchasing.
Probably wont get a sale from me as they are still going to be using the Warscape engine which is a turd... I.e not 64 bit and poorly optimised. Also dont get me started on the A.I in total wars. For me the series is dead. Sad to say. Unless changes are made. p.s and they are still doing their cinematic hyping. Wait for actual gameplay folks.
Yeah, they really need make the game 64 bit, and to Work on multi threading optimization... In rome 2, im actually being bottlenecked on core 1 on my cpu, not to mention that sli wasnt supported for AGES...
