Hi!<BR>I have Asus V7700, nor overclocked, and Detinator 3 6.47 with Dx8. When I installed RivaTuner my system freezed. I rebooted it, but Windows didn't start! Now I am writing from another computer - How can I save my OS?
RivaTuner cannot freeze you PC. Had u changed any registry entries in RivaTuner's <Power User> page?<P>P.S. I've the same hardware configuration.<BR>
Whe I try to press it system starts to beep <IMG SRC="http://www.guru3d.com/ubb/frown.gif"> - is it dangerous?
If overclocking settings had really freezed your system (but I dont't think so) you can either press CTRL when logging into Windows (it will ignore hardware overclocking settings at startup) or boot into safe mode and disable overclocking into RivaTuner. It it will not help, then it's NOT overclocking fault. <p>[This message has been edited by Unwinder (edited November 30, 2000).]
It doesn't start, it hangs when I see hardware matrix... You know I had SmartDoctor installed and two drivers, from nvidia and from asustek - the reason?
After system counts memory, the screen flips to hardware matrix and below it, it writes "Starting Windows 98" ot something like that.
Hmm, this seems to be quite terminal <IMG SRC="http://www.guru3d.com/ubb/eek.gif"><P>Press F8 choose command prompt and reinstall windows over you current one.<P>I think you overclocked your card way too much causing the system to crash.
