Hope you can help me unwinder or maybe others. I am getting a runtime error on startup about nvcpl.dll as soon as I enable overlclocking thru rivatuner. Is this normal? Even by uninstalling rivatuner the error does not go away and I have to reiinstall the drivers?
Iam getting the same problem also, any idea when a new version will come out? And is there a problem with all the nvidia drivers, or just these new ones? Thanks for the support and development
My vacation starts on 11th of July and I seriously doubt that I'll be able to prepare new version till that time. So it is shecduled on the middle of August. And this problem definitively doesn't deserve non-scheduled version upgrade. It seems to be non-clitical and not affecting the functionality, it is just a mess with registry which can be easily fixed via regedit.
is it just a problem with these drivers? Also if you know how to fix it with the regedit, please let me know
Ok thanks and enjoy your holiday . One thing though you say its a regedit thing, does that mean I can try and fix it myself? If so is it a windows setting or a rivatuner setting? At least I will know where to start
Yes, you'll be able to fix it yourself. Unfortunately currently I'm far from my 64-bit rig so I cannot provide you detailed instructions, will do it tomorrow.
Open regedit, expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run then set NvCplDaemon to "rundll32.exe"
