Seems like RTM will be build 15139 judging by the requirements of Dolby Access Demo.

They don't have another 100 days before Gold/RTM is due, unless they artificially bump the build number again

What does build number have to do with Dolby requirements?

It's about the HRTF they'll introduce with RS2. When I go to the devices to enable the spatial sound, if I try to enable Dolby Atmos (it also offers a generic Windows version, named simply HRTF in older builds) it opens the app page where it says Dolby Access Demo and the minimum requirements for it are Windows 10 version 15139.0 or higher. It's not the "old" Dolby Home Theater that got introduced years ago.

I imagine that would be a typo, Microsoft themselves don't even know the final build number yet

I installed this on my PC and tried Edge. It still silently crashes on exit. I check this in reliability report. I'm seeing this behavior since 1439x builds. It looks something like this,

    Description
    Faulting Application Path: C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe

    Problem signature

Anyone else seeing this? I'm not sure if I can do any troubleshooting because this is the only problematic UWP app I have installed.

Aw crap, my audio cuts out every now and then but fixes itself when I open and close AIMP. weird.

That was constructive - and quite common to W10 fanboys.

Oh, yes, there are so many cool DX12 games, right? I tried 2 - Forza Apex didn't work with my gamepad so it went out of the disk within 3 minutes and with Rise of the Tomb Raider i got additional... 2 FPS with DX12 :). That's impressive.

I use W8.1 myself, so regarding Vulkan (which I don't use as well, played DOOM demo for a few minutes and that's not my kind of FPS) it seems I'm cool ;).

I am on release 1607 and I see errors in many MS app, like edge, skype ,sticknotes etc (some of these I don't even use).

Here one example, this is from event viewer

Ah, that's a relief. Hardly anyone talks about them so I was wondering what's going on with my PC. I can also trigger crashes in sticky notes simply by restarting explorer in task manager. I don't understand why these apps are generally of such poor quality.

I just watched an embedded video on this forum in Edge and it dropped frames like crazy but when I use the HTML5 site also in Edge, it worked perfectly. Wow. Flash sure is awful. Glad I haven't had it installed in years :p

Is game mode permanently on for everyone? I want it off but it always resets to on.

Since these are all new UWP/Metro apps that support suspending, I wonder if its something in power management.
Hopefully they will fix these new app, I don't even run any of them except maybe calculator.

Yikes, after toggling game mode, I'm getting low memory warnings. I obviously shouldn't be getting them!

You obviously don't have enough memory, you should consider upgrading to 64GB.

I shall download more RAM :p

The committed size blew up for some reason,

MSI AB showed that number as pagefile usage, which I found strange because it is set to 200-2048MB. I'll try gaming again in the evening and see if it goes wrong.

Edit: Tried FH3 for about an hour and it worked fine. I had to reboot to clear up that committed number and now it is normal again. I hope they're making good use of all these crash reports.
