It is very likely it will be exactly the same.

If you take a look at twilight princess on the gamecube and wii , they are identical (minus the controller of course).

And we are talking about Nintendo here. They are among the laziest of developers.
If there will be a higher resolution , it will be because of upscaling of the NX , not the game.

This looks... amazing! I love how there's an element of cartoon-ish shading, a little like Wind Waker. Plus, the incorporation of technology looks interesting, very interesting indeed.....

Can guarantee if will be part of the plot, the blue tunic you've seen is special equipment for dealing with cold areas (it has less defense than the other clothes you can get in the demo). Some of the gameplay videos seem to break the progression but it seemed like it was a reward for manually surviving your way to the top of the mountain with special foods and fire.

He has the tunic on during demos, and the first reveal trailer too. Just his new uniform I guess.

Same as with how you don't see the master sword, since weapons degrade and break it's likely you won't get it til much later in the game.

You don't actually see him use it, but it is in the end of the trailer and in the logo for the new game.

Not sure if we're going to see any voice acting outside of this narrator whoever she is (probably zelda). For example, "old man" in demo does not speak.

One thing you might have noticed is that this plateau is part of a clear tutorial area, it's bordered by massive cliffs on all sides that you need a glider for, you get this from completing 4 shrines in the area. So once you've done this sort of tutorial and seen whatever small plot is in here you're free to jump off to any side and explore over there (we've seen forests, swamps, iceland and deserts so far).

I'll get an NX for this though, it'll just be 1080p with better visuals. Also of note is that the gamepad in the demo only showed button mapping, they'd shunted off any map from the gamepad to the screen based on feedback.

About 7:45 there is a green tunic in the inventory. Looks like no hat still, not a big deal.

Also looks like there is jumping in the game. And Link is right handed? =[

Ah, the Green tunic is a quilted tunic for cold areas.

Very interesting. Also there is some trademarks about this game one being a Optical Disc based game which is no doubt the Wii-U version of the game and the other being Cartridges.

This amiibo thing is getting me interested. there is already wolf link when you use the twilight princess amiibo in breath of the wild.

these will be released as well (with also special functions).

So excited for this.

Wish that yesterday's Virtual Console release of Skyward Sword on Wii U was without the motion controls. Instead it's the same version. Only Zelda game I haven't finished, and for that reason - got bored of waving the WiiMote around.

to be fair skyward sword is probably one of the worst zelda games of recent, recycled content galore, slow pacing and forced tutorials.

Going to give it another shot on Dolphin. Want to complete it before Breath of the Wild

I think the low resolution of the Wii was even more jarring in an era when PS3 / Xbox 360 were capable of (although not often) outputting 1080p and had been for years.

I loved Skyward Sword, I didn't think I would like the motion controls but I quite enjoyed it. Way different than what Twilight Princess which I could not play on the Wii because of the awful controls, they really did not do anything. In Skyward sword though, it was awesome! The motion you swing the sword and the turning of the wiimote actually made a difference.
