My son has a friend who just spent $4500 AUS on a new PC with Intel CPu latest and GTX 680. He was experiencing driver crashes. This happened with any drive. Same card in my overclocked AMD machine was finr. To cut a long story short. It seems that when the PC goes from its idle ( low CPU freq ), to its normal or turbo mode in a hurry, the machine would crash, it was like the CPU volts where lagging behind the speed change, so I slowly bumped the CPU volts up, didnt take much that stopped all the crashing. That allowed me to use the latest drivers He hasnt had any issues in weeks now, but now it is overclocked although it can go more he is happy. And me well i go a free GTX680 out of the little bit of work so im not complaining.
