I will say I am impressed with the card's power consumption. I've been able to set the power limiter at -40% before it starts throttling.

No biggie, my Samsung 4K monitor came with the proper display port cable. However, thanks for the information.

OK, so my DP to mini DP adapter came, but still not working properly.

    Right now I have:

Left screen (LG, 1920 x 1200 native, HDMI input): DP --> DVI --> HDMI, works fine at native res
Centre screen (Dell U2711, 2560 x 1440 native, HDMI, 2 x DVI, DP): HDMI (@1080P), ONLY WORKS AT 1650 X 1050 WITH THE ACTIVE SODDING ADAPTER IF I USE IT DP --> MINI DP --> DUAL LINK DVI ACTIVE ADAPER WHICH WORKED FINE WITH MY 7970!!!!!!!!
Right Screen (Dell, 1920 x 1200 native, DVI): DP --> MINI DP --> Active DVI Adapter, works fine at native res.

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS SODDING DELL MONITOR????????!??!?!?!?!????!1!???!?!?111?!?!?!?ONE!?!?!?!?ELEVEN!!!!

Maybe the cable did something to the screen :/ Have you checked the input area of the monitor for damage?

Checked the screen with another GFX card, works fine.
