I'm running Windows 7 x64, and so far D3DOverrider has been working flawlessly. However there is a small niggle that I can't find any way to get round. I have D3DOverrider set to launch on Windows startup for convenience, but this causes a UAC prompt every time as the software is unsigned or something like that. So every time my computer boots I have to hit the 'Yes' button to confirm I do indeed want it to run. I can't seem to find any way of making this choice stick, short of completely disabling UAC — which I don't want to do because it does have benefits, and it's a lot better than Vista's UAC. Just wondering if anyone knows another way round this. Otherwise I guess I'll have to wait until Windows 7 goes final and D3DOverrider becomes signed software. Or can that be done already?
Follow this guide, works for me 100% and no bugging at boot. http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/window-on-windows/?p=616
