They can bite my fat ass. Even STEAM lets me go offline, and there I can chat with people and have a good priced store.

That's just plain stupid! If Ubisoft adds that on Steam games too then they are freaking morons.

The sad thing is, I would have bought AC2 for the PC before reading this. People who want protection should scrap securom and anything else except Steam. That would be great.

IS PC pay-to-play the next step?

With games selling for $5 plus $10 per month to play?

No, but they do stick an anal probe in you with a ethernet port, and if your internet goes out or you have to take a dump, your saved games are deleted and AS2 is uninstalled.

EA learned their lesson: No more third party DRM in Steam games, everyone's happy.

We'll see what happens to Ubisoft...

yep, all reasons why people pirate stuff, yet the more DRM they come up with the more people do it, special with stupid **** like need to be online just to play single player.. I mean seriously some people have gameing pc's that dont even have Internet connection. less they playing mmorpgs or FPS mutiplayer games. Even then need a Internet connection to play single player is asinine, I can understand it for consoles, but even then they dont need it for Trophies or Achievement
