Seems good for middle earth shadows of mordor,and i see the dsr option for first time. Does it have significant performance impact?

 

Same as downsampling + a bit more (probably because of the blur filter). So it does require more or less the same amount of processing power as the resolution multipliers (from 1.20x to 4.00x) with a bit more overhead.

Okwill have a look at it in abit and try and add it to the inf in a way that it should work.

too bad Mordor ME didn't get SLi profile

 

DSR working great on Fermi (GTX580 SLI), tested BF4 and GW2 so far.

My 19" Syncmaster 920N LCD monitor does not work with this driver using a DVI to VGA adapter.

The monitor is detected by both Windows and the Nvidia Control Panel however

You have to change a few settings in order to choose which GPU will run the programs you want it to. You cannot disable the onboard graphics on my system. I have not had any issues on Windows 8.1. I have installed about 10 drivers already, literally almost every driver since 335.23. Some I installed as an upgrade and some with Nvidia clean install. I am currently using this 344.24 driver without disabling signature enforcement thanks to Cyrus. No issues at all so far. I do occasionally have to go and delete a couple of dir files that are used to maintain a cache of the programs that have been used. This is because if you uninstall an app, Nvidia still keeps it in the programs list. It doesn't cause any issues, it just annoys me so I delete the program list once in a while.

i tried this DSR, is just regular Downsampling not a big thing, GeDoSaTo is still the best downsampling tool imo, with gedosato i was able to play some games at 4K with my 2GB card at 60fps (more likely old games like TF2, CS:GO, etc), while with DSR the games run at 30fps or less.

 

Infs don't work for 32-bit.

Sharp rise in Downsample Thread posts because of new DSR. They act like it didn't already exist. .-.

 

Modified INF No DirectCompute 5.0

Hey, I just downloaded the modified .inf file from fr33jack and added my .inf 1292.1966.103C and in GPU-Z, I have no DirectCompute 5.0 Checkmark. I have Nividia Optimus and Direct 3D games work on my 740M with these drivers, does anyone have that checkmark? I have Windows 10 TP

I have that check mark on Win 8.1. Does this driver work with Win 10 with Optimus? I was unable to get any programs to use the Nvidia GPU with 344.11. I also tried 335.23 and the latest 2 intel drivers. Nothing worked for me. Only the Intel GPU worked for me, even though device manager reported no problems.

Hi there, I use 4k as native resolution would dsr still work, I mean using 2x2 will create a 7680x4320 resolution available in games?

 

Try fear3 sli profile it Works really well I've got more than 90% usage in both cards

 

344.16 give me better performance in bf4 and gw2.

 

Alike yet not the same. Nvidias is better and can do more. As for "dsr run at 30fps" what rez did you pick? SOME games will show ALL rez from 23 fps to 60. Now I just tested this again and 60.. not one at 30. Only one so far was Diable III and by that I mean I could pick a rez with 23fps or 60.. duh I picked 60 lol..

And were talking NVIDIA they will never give anyone credit. So yeah its been around awhile.

 

...agreed,gedosato has 3 levels of downsampling,i think this dsr uses the most aggressive, lanczos
