Im having issues with USB. USB Keyboards, Mice, My headset, Bluetooth and wifi usb devices all work fine but none of my USB Card readers or micro sd to usb adapters will work anymore. They all work fine on a Win 7 laptop and they used to work fine on my Windows 8 PC but now they just show in DM as no driver installed and it cant seem to find one either. Any idea what is wrong?
BURN IT, BURN IT WITH FIRE! Assuming everything works in the BIOS, try resetting your settings to default, see if that fixes it, if not, could be a software issue, otherwise, your mobo is borked

Borked in a way that only stops mass storage devices from working? Bit of a specific "bork" Have the latest intel chipset drivers installed and that did not work.. May have to re-install... or judging by BLEH!'s reaction I should go back to Windows 7
Do you know when it last worked? Maybe system restore, or use the refresh feature in 8.1 that i've heard works well but never personally used.
i still have this problem .. i used rufus app to format my usb but still cant. when i use my laptop it formats it fine, but my pc doesnt here is screeny
so I tried to re install the RST driver but i also get failure during instalation what does that mean?
Not really sure if it'll be that but turn off USB selective suspend. Was getting massive issues on HP Laptops with some USB 3.0 external HDD's and that fixed it for those laptops. Might as well give it a go.
