Yep been checking Guru3d since I was at uni, great site for reviews and the forums here for driver releases etc.

Whaaa.. Thanks for the info!

I like the deep technical info in the reviews on this site and the "old fashioned" look. It's perfect!

Comparing Guru3D with TomsHardware should be a crime punished with death! And maybe a lifetime ban from Guru3D forums!

More seriously, Guru3D is much better than Toms and one of the reasons it´s small dimension that makes it more focused on what really matters. Toms has much more quantity but their quality is weak with a few bright spots from time.
I love that Guru3D is one of the few sites only focused on pc hardware leaving content like phones and other things to other sites, like Anandtech, that has great reviews about phones and tablets.

As for expanding, the question is, expand to what? Phones and tablets? No thanks. Gaming laptops? Maybe. Games reviews? No need, i already have IGN and Gamespot to laugh like crazy at their ****ty reviews...

As for a new site design, i wouldn´t mind, as long as it mantains the charm of the current one.

Basically, please dont´t ruin my favourite hardware site!!!

I know I'm quoting an old post here but running this site must a full time position surely? Testing hardware, writing and publishing articles, site maintenance etc etc seems like an 8hr day...
Is it work or hobby Hilbert?

That is proper old, the site was updated around four years ago to what it is now

    http://www.guru3d.com/

I actually preferred the older design as I was a lurker here from 2002 and used the site for downloading drivers, and reading the articles, etc.

Though the new design has grown on me now.

    EDIT:

Should of checked the dates this thread first LOL

Well i have to hand it to you for this Hilbert. For someone to achieve this kind of success with their own money and time is something quite special, specially on the times we are facing now, with an economic crysis and all that stuff. I don´t if i could do it like this.

Congrats man and keep up the amazing work!!!
