If so, that pretty much isn't a patch anymore, at least in my eyes. Pretty much the same as uninstalling and reinstalling the game again.

Actually, when you pay for 100mb, you get a bit more

Im surprised about speed vs Price in belgium, if they truely charge THAT much for 100mb.

Around here I could get 50 for 39,90, and 150 for 69,90, with nothing in between.

Yeah, they like to make a big jump between the 2nd highest, and the highest... both in terms of performance and Price, so that those who wants really fast net, will be paying a Premium. The next step for me would be 300 mbit for 60 euro pr month.

I know exactly who you are now... Hey Terra. You PhysX Phanboy haha.

BTW, you do know there's people living outside of Denmark? And you know that even if I wanted to pay £1000/month where I live in the UK (which is the best place to live in the UK, according to the recent poll), hell, even if I wanted to pay £2000/month to get better than 13mbit/s, I just couldn't. It is not quite here yet. There's no infrastructure. Yet.

The problem here is not the technology, but a massive duopoly between 2 companies that has been going for at least a decade.

Holy $hit, that is terrible. I'd never pay $130 per month for a 1mb connection.

Even $130 per year would be too much. :)

they should compress the patches and then have it downloaded to the computer that way and have it decompress the patch to the games location.

1gb of game data sometimes get compressed down to 500mb or less.

What, it's that much, i know the situation in the states is bad, but if you have to pay anywhere near 10 bucks/gig than it's called stealing, remember years back with my phone once i used up all the cap on it i would have to pay a couple of cents extra for each next gig

Also just a note on the top it should have another entry titled: No, I live in the free world not the US

Patches dont inject code like they used to now they just replace whole master files or comprressed files Most Game Coders have become lazy. its easier to make a patch that just replaces FILE 1 then opening FILE 1 and Injecting Fixed CODE
