A simple question that is really bugging me. I am trying to measure voltage of a battery with multimeter. I tried all combinations of pins and i cannot seem to get any reading, which means there must be some lock. I tried connecting all pins to ground and still couldnt get a reading. So what do i have to do to get a reading ? Battery is working btw, it is NOT a dead battery.

normally, you should read 10,8 V or a bit higher.
having connected the multimeter connectors to the ground and Vbat.
it should be in opposite positions, and be sure that you touch the contacts firmly, have the scale positioned to 20 V and battery has charge.just trying to enumerate things to check ,in a logical flow .
