    Hi guys,

I have just re-built Windows, with my new Z87 motherboard. Set up my array. IRST manager is asking me to turn on write back cache. Something I cant remember if I had on or off before. I certainly remember turning off disk cache and NCQ on.
Can someone please help me with this?

Write Back Cache will gain you performance but in the event of a power failure or if your system crashes during a write operation, you risk the chance of that data being corrupt/lost. With it off, the system will not use memory cache to store writes.

Essentially, performance vs higher safety from crashes/power failure.
