I am by no means a techie, so bear with me. I have a Dell 400 MHZ, Pentium II MMX with 280 mg ram and have tried to install a voodoo 4 4500 agp card. I turn the machine off, put the card in and it loads the initial screen that does the ram count, and then it is nothing but a black screen. Any ideas on what I am not doing or need to do. I just learned how to select the VGA driver and will try that tonight.
Thanks,
rdawg

  2. That's really hard to say. Basically i'm thinking of two issues:
1) The Voodoo 4 4500 consumes heaps of power. It might be a power supply issue, thus.
2) The card coul be plain broken, try it on another/friends system. Or return it and ask a new one.
------------------
Hilbert Hagedoorn - Chief Editor
- "Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else."
