Strange, according to the whitelist, the 8800 GPUs are whitelisted so they should be able to get WUs:

    0x10de:0x0191:2:1:G80 [GeForce 8800 GTX]
    0x10de:0x0193:2:1:G80 [GeForce 8800 GTS]
    0x10de:0x0194:2:1:G80 [GeForce 8800 Ultra]

What F@H Client version are you using? Do note that few days ago, there was an issue with the GPU2 Servers and that caused those Pre-Fermi GPUs to stop folding. Do note that these GPUs will no longer be getting new Projects, just the existing ones. Wouldn't mind helping you out if you want to setup those GPUs :)

Thank you very much for looking into it, PantherX.
I am/was using 7.2.9 when I was trying to get it work on windows.

I'll hook wine on linux and see if I can get 8800 going.

I assume that you are aware of WINE. If not, here's the guide (http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=6793) that works fine. However, the last page or so may have some unique troubleshooting steps, depending on what distro you are using.

Thanks, I get around 100,000 PPD, sometimes up to 140,000. It honestly depends alot on the workunit. My name is currently "mlindemannDesktop2" and I am folding on my own little mini team at the moment.

that ok, that's a decent amount for the hardware, it annoying how much ppd can swing with the difference's of work units i can go from 140k upto 220k

    nice and clean rig, 907rider.

That rig would be a waste of specs if it were only for gaming. Good luck!

iancook how do you get so many ppd out of your rig? what are you running for hardware?

Thanks sverek! I actually built this guy to run CAD and Solid Works for the next 4-5 years, hardly any gaming actually.

Any tips or tricks for me guys? i've only been folding a couple months now, and dont really do anything other then OC my CPU and GPU's a bit and let it run in Windows 7 while i'm at work. (as a bi-product it heats the upstairs of my house quite nicely which is important because I live in Alaska)

If you posted the initial section of your log, we can see how the client is configured and can then suggest some ideas. Off the top of my head, your configuration should be something like this:
    SMP: 10
    GPU: 0
    GPU: 1

The reason for 10 instead of 12 is because any interruptions will slow down SMP so with 2 CPUs free, the OS can use that to feed the GPUs, and other light applications and the SMP isn't disturbed often.

update to the new configuration of the rig's the servers got a new case fractal design Arc XL. the water cooling has all move inside and now should have space for 12HDD+2SSD

modded the side panel to fit some 120mm fan for more air flow made the cpu temps go down by 10c and the gpu's sit at about 60c with a little OC

my daily driver now with the 780's and 4 120mm in the side panel and 2 in the top all cut out with a 120mm hole saw
