    *** GTX 560 Ti Owners Thread ***

Haven't seen this thread made yet so here it is.

First off, I'd just like to say how impressed I am with this card, after waiting it out for a few months, trying to decide on a card to buy, I'm glad I waited. Coming from 9800GTX+ 512MB SLI, my games are a lot more fluid now, a breath of fresh air or so to speak.

I ain't OC'd yet, but I would like to hear if any of you have, and what clocks you're running at.

What are your thoughts on the card, performance etc. ?

hot damn thats a beefy OC.

hmm, i gotta wait a week or two before the gigabyte SOC arrives downunder. then i'll probably sell my 580 to buy one or two 560 SOCs. they seem like awesome bang per buck and come pretty close to matching my 580 in some games.

Hey guys, this may be a stupid question but is it worth the 60 or so it would cost me to step up from my 460 to a 560? I'm really considering it.

I would..$60 is not alot,if you sold your 460 and added $60 would it add up to a 560 price? I dont think so.
its perfect cus the value on the 460 will drop more now because of the 560.

No I still got time to do the step up from evga. I've only had this bad boy for 30 days or so.

personally i would say use the step up, then sell the evga 560 as new.

then buy an msi 560 or gigabyte soc 560. the evga only has a single fan cooler, whereas the msi 560 and gigabyte 560 use dual fan coolers and have pretty decent overclocks on them to begin with.

Though I'm a hardcore (well, not so hardcore after all) ATi/AMD fanboy, that has not blinded me to the fact that the GTX560 Ti is an excellent card for price/performance value. I've replaced my Leadtek GTX460 768MB + 9600GT (PhysX) combo with a Gigabyte GTX560 Ti 1GB + Leadtek 460 768MB (PhysX) combo, coupled with my Q6600 @3ghz, I should be able to handle most modern games well enough.

It might be really old but it heats up cards more then 06 or vantage does.
So i use it for testing

I shall be joining the gang when mine arrives either tomorrow or Monday d=)

I got the Gigabyte OC version to save a bit of money but still get the decent cooler. Should be able to OC it plenty myself.

Gigabyte GTX560OC Ti 1GB, I believe I'd gotten the same one. There's a GTX560SOC 1GB that comes in clocked at 1ghz core, but isn't available in my neck of the wood yet, rather, I could have gotten it had I just wait another day or two, but my impatience won out.

i have the MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II, i can overclock it to 1Ghz easily, but i think the rest of my system is letting me down which is causing instability issues.
I am upgrading my entire rig at the beginning of March after i come back from holidays anyways and will be running SLI then, so will be much better once all that happens.

Sever i'd keep your 580 dude, no point in selling it and getting 2, since your looking in the $500 mark + , besides Dual gpu's coming out soon such as ATI's antiless and nvidia's gtx 590, besides single 580 is more futureproof and can always add a 2nd down the road.. Dont downgrade bro = /

    my 580's already on ebay.

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI...05666&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT#ht_692wt_1139

560 draws less power, runs cooler, less noise, and performs the same as my 580 in most of my games.

i'll probably stick with a single one. then upgrade down the track if i need to. i dont think i'll need to upgrade though since its still mostly console ports coming out.

the 590 will cost more than a 580 and will be downclocked to stay within the pcie power specifications, so i dont see it being much better than two 560s.
