This is doing my head in.. My monitor, a Samsung Syncmaster P2770FH, keeps turning off and on. What happens is the screen goes black for about a second or two, then it turns on again by itself. It happens when the displayed image is relatively dark, like when playing games or watching movies. For example night scenes or dark menu's. It's like the Samsung *thinks* there's no signal when it's dark, and switches off / on. Does anyone have a clue what can cause this? Or perhaps a fix? Searches on the web didn't help much. - DVI or HDMI connected makes no difference. - It only happens with this monitor, when i connect another one to the pc it works fine. Thanks in advance.
