NVIDIA is going to offer a new bundle with Free-to-play games. Everyone who purchases a GeForce GTX card (GTX 650 or above), will receive up to 110 EUR of in-game value to use with three game title... NVIDIA launches Gear Up Game bundle
why?, they are offering free games :infinity: Anyways quality price on single cards i think AMD has the winning spot now, with or without games.
Well if they would have included DOTA2 (where i already have 15 invites on steam) i would have ordered 2. oh well too bad....
The poor man's battlefield? Meh! They should've added Dota2, lol and Tf2 instead of PL2 items. Dunno about Hawken. Pretty smart to offer f2p items, tbh. The other core games can be had very cheap but f2p items have their own economy.
Rather terrible response. Planetside 2 is still half broken, Hawken is rather boring till they add more maps and don't get me started on World of tanks.
I have to agree, I find this bundle rather disappointing. In fact, if I were in the market for a new GPU, this deal wouldn't interest me in the slightest.
I dunno, if they were really that desperate, which according to sales figures they aren't, You'd think they would knock 50 bucks off the 680's, then release their latest TWIMTBP with the cards for free. I think this is just to sell low-mid range series cards.
They dont really offer "Free to play games " ( who will be really stupid, as they are free lol ), they have offer a coupon for buy items in thoses Free to play games.. Edit: lol i have not see it was limited to 25$ and 50$ / games depending the level of cards ( 650 or 660 and up ).
obviously the one who doesn't give a ****. because it's already outselling competition with 2:1 with much healthier margins to boot as opposed to the one who's sitting on so much inventory that it has to bundle 6 games, and is willing to dish $4M for Far Cry 3 bundle alone http://www.hardwareluxx.com/index.p...md-spends-4-million-for-far-cry-3-bundle.html
I really don't care what free crap Nvidia or AMD are giving out to try to sway buyers to purchasing their products. I buy what is the best performing (Nvidia) card for my budget.
Oooh. I get it, I get it. AMD bundles a game, desperation. Nvidia, benevolence. Makes sense. Sorry guys.
