Okay, I have this dilemma. I was looking at my local computer store and noticed this card I hadn't seen before.

It's a 128 MB card and I thought that for $99.99 it's a great deal.

However, I really don't buy any computer-related stuff without reading some reviews. It seems, though, that these reviews are non-existant. They must be new.

I want to ask you people if you've had any experience with this card and, if so, how you liked it.

If anyone wants to check the card out, follow this link.

Thanks much in advance.

Okay. Is it an ATI chipset? Radeon? Rage?

Or, does ATI make them?

Ummm...on the ones that use ATI chipsets, they tell that they do. This one they don't say who made it.

Well, I would advise those people interested with this card should shy away.

The chipset is actually SiS 315L, which isn't all that good.

Here's the lowdown: whenever I play CS, the menu selection items (which are animated... simply) are extremely slow. I am able to get into a game and I pull about 70fps. Not bad, better than my original 14 or so fps...

However, a few minutes later, the game crashes. I've followed all the instructions in the FAQ section of the site. Still, no dice.

So in summation:

actually, the apollo SiS 315 pro deluxe, w/128mb sgram
is a damn fine card! i picked it up for $70

3,069 3dmarks 2001

runs high frame rates,--no environmental bumping

but for the features- dual display /w tv out capabilites, and hardware dvd decoding, it was a steal- i replaced the voodoo5 i have in my spare computer with it
3069 ??,thats low. My 2 years old GF2 MX can reach 3199. Stay away from that MAD DOG video card. I would say that you should get a GF3 Ti200. It only cost around $30 more. But if you still wanna get a video card that cost $99 than get a GF2 Ti.
