    How do you get SweetFX to work in Crysis?

    I'm using an ATI card... with CCC and windows 7 I've tried numerous times to just install the SMAA 1.2 also and nothing's working. Crysis is installed to the programs x86 folder. Any help would be great. Thanks.

    from game_comatibility

    ** Crysis **
    Install SweetFX to the main Crysis folder, but move d3d9.dll , dxgi.dll and injector.ini to the bin32 folder.

    Then create an autoexec.cfg file in the main Crysis 2 folder and paste the following text into it.

    r_FSAA = 0
    r_UseEdgeAA = 0

    This disables all forms of ingame AA, allowing the injector to work.

    Run the game using the 32bit executable - Not the 64bit executable as SweetFX is not compatible with 64bit executables.

    Thanks... I'll try that again... I'm sure I followed those instructions before and I had no luck... Is the main Crysis folder the folder that contains Bin32 and bin64, so I put the folder called SweetFX in there with the two Bin files?

    I love and hate sweetFX sometimes. You can create a stunning settings for one place then everything else is screwed up :(

    BTW I removed some blue in dark colors and red in highlights, poped some HDR and came out with this in Sleeping Dogs.

    Pretty sure it will only work in Daytime tho. Mind the jaggies you may find. I'm downsampling + SMAA but it's usually not enough.

    Not sure what's different from my installation of Crysis, but SweetFX does not work for me, nor SMAA.. looks like I'm stuck with the original Crysis AA. bums

    Has ANYONE gotten this working with Dragon Age/Dragon Age 2 or The Witcher 1?

    All of these would benefit greatly from SweetFX, especially Dragon Age 2, but none of them will work no matter what I try.

    Has anyone had success with these games?

    Yes... I've tried it quite a few times... Why does it say Crysis 2 folder? I haven't got crysis 2 on my pc. Also I haven't installed through steam, I have a retail copy of Crysis So my main folder is different to the steam location, but installing SweetFx to my main folder doesn't seem to work. Running Crysis.exe The Screen goes black and then crashes.

    I dunno either... Not having the game installed through Steam could be the reason.. Some files could be in different places. Not sure.
