    Hi.

I Have the following memory : 1600mhz CL9 4GB 2x2, now I want to upgrade and I can get 1600mhz CL9 8GB 4x2 to make it a total of 12GB. But I see theirs 2133mhz CL10 modules as well both cost the same price.

Should I rather go for faster 8GB ram and if see its not enough I can still let it run at a lower speed 1600mhz CL9 in future.

What do you guys recommend ?

I don't think you get any significant performance by getting faster RAM, especially for Sandy Bridge platform.

For now I'd recommend to figure if you really need additional RAM and how much. 4GB should be enough if you not running many applications at the same time or really demanding ones.
8GB is considered minimal if you want just to run programs and don't bother to check how much free mem you got left.

Well Finally decided to get the ram and everything is much smoother. 4gb ram just dont cut it anymore.

For many games even 8 GB is a bit limiting these days.
